sift magazine

This past fall, Sift Magazine, (the publication put out by King Arthur Flour) featured a story about The Bread Lab in Mount Vernon. Here are a few of my images from that story.

These are my very favorite kinds of photographs - those that are artful documentations of someone's passion, especially for the land, for growing and for food. And the passion of the photographer always comes through, too - in the rows of corn, in the spread of grains, in the hands that work so hard to bring food to my table. Craving bread now! As always, every photograph tells a story, Clare.

That's so cool that you got to work for them! I noticed them pop up a while ago and was so impressed by the photographs/content. These are beautiful Clare. Love it.
