mangalitsa pork

When I ask people what they consider to be the most challenging food to photograph, the most common answer I hear is meat.

I agree, meat can be really hard. Photograph it in the wrong light and it becomes the world's most unappetizing food.
With the right styling and textures, however, photographing meat can be a dream.

The product photos below were shot for The Sheepish Pig, a local producer of humanely raised Mangalitsa pork. Their website is still in development, but you can learn a little bit about them on their Facebook page.
