Shannon and Brad

From the bride's surprise message on the Lusty Lady marquee, to the beer and chocolate that were artfully woven into the touching ceremony, to the cigar smoking at the end of the night...this was one fun wedding to shoot.
In addition, Shannon and Brad were GREAT to work with, which was especially nice because we didn't meet in person until their wedding day.
Also, kudos to Annemarie Juhlian for her great officiating, and to the Golden Gardens Bathhouse, which is always a sweet ceremony location.

Christy and Mike

Joe and I met Christy and Mike in Ireland, at another fabulous wedding that I was shooting, (hi Kenny and Gina!!) Since we got to spend a week with everyone, we ended up getting to know a few of the guests. However, from the moment we met them in the Belfast airport, we INSTANTLY liked Christy and Mike. They are a ton of fun, and they are perfect complements to one another. So, when Mike proposed to Christy in Ireland, I was secretly hoping I would get to shoot their wedding. And, two years later, I did!!

Christy and Mike got married at Christy's parent's home in Olympia. Located on the Sound, the house and yard were perfect settings for this celebration. And, lucky for us, the rain held off all day. In fact, the ominous-looking sky ended up making the photos even better!
Oh, and check out Christy's gorgeous dress.....her mom made it! Cool, huh?

Kate and Stephen

Gorgeous location, adorable kids running wild, a ridiculously wonderful couple, good music, tasty food, and a great attention to detail, (including algebra problems for the guests to solve in order to find their table. You gotta love it.)
All in all, a fantastic celebration for two lovely people.
